In this 1.5 hour WORKSHOP, we will wander through will walk through a selection of Melbourne’s renowned arcades and laneways. As we walk through these beautiful and eclectic parts of our city, you will be encouraged to try to use Italian to describe what you can see, the buildings around you and the directions in which we move.
This experience is intended to be a fun and active language learning experience in a real-life context, where the elements of the city’s environment serve as prompts to talk about and describe different things in Italian that you might not usually cover in your regular learning space.
You will receive some material on useful vocabulary and phrases for the session prior to the event so you can come with an idea of what we will speak about. Being prepared will help you to feel in control and more competent once I will engage you in speaking during our walk.
But don’t worry, I (Monica) will be there to support you along the way, help all the participants learn vocabulary & practice the correct pronunciation.
This small group session is open to any Italian language level. The main focus we will have is to build up confidence when speaking and to create a relaxed and friendly environment for everyone.
